  • Plastic bag
  • Scraping tool

 Step 1: Turn your hairdryer on and aim it at the stain.

 Step 2: Be careful not to turn on the hairdryer too high as you can melt the fibres of the carpet. Keep watching to make sure that you are only melting the chewing gum.

Step 3: When the gum starts to melt, use the plastic bag to scrape it off. As it has melted, it should be easy to remove with the plastic bag.

 Step 4: Continue the above process until the gum is removed.
